How do you packet sniff a network that uses a cisco router or switch and want to see all out/inbound traffic? - torrent cisco product identification tool

In just curious how you all incoming and outgoing traffic can be viewed on a busy network. Soybeans are also a team, and was just curious what you would do. I know that you need Windows to install Wireshark, but in a switched network or a network with a router, as you all incoming and outgoing traffic? Wireshark can be installed on the actual router, or if you have a Windows PC that is also inextricably linked to the router console, then have connection. How does it work? I mean, I can laugh in my heart the local blood supply, but what about the traffic with the rest? I'm curious to know who can be with Bit Torrent, and such programs, and have only a snapshot of traffic at the entrance to our network and our network. Of course, I'm a novice, but my head tells me to have as much experience as possible. We have a very liberal environment, as we are a non-profit organization. Therefore, any help is appreciated!. I always wondered how it was possible to analyze packets to route

  1. You should do to be further investigated. There are several ways to do this. You need a separate system with 2 network cards. And then you have to draw whatever the router and Ethernet patch on a system of transport that through them. Some analyzers collect traffic from outside interface and Ethernet router. Simply search, knowing that you can play and experiment with it one of the best ways to learn in safety.
